Witness Assessment Research

The primary methodology of Witness Assessment Research involves a research session structured to focus entirely on witness testimony.  The process involves a neutral presentation of facts in front of a panel of mock jurors, followed by live or videotaped testimony by parties, and/or fact or expert witnesses to evaluate the witnesses.

When possible, mock direct and cross-examinations are employed to simulate the pressure of the courtroom.  Mock jurors provide written feedback on each witness and engage in discussions about relevant witness issues.  This methodology may be used to evaluate any number of witnesses in a given case.  A more simplified approach to Witness Assessment Research involves adding a mock direct and cross examination, or other testimony, as an additional part of an ongoing research session, such as Case Strength Evaluation Research.
